With  open workspaces, comfortable lounges, local art, and regular events, Workbar Union is a destination and resource for Somerville’s entrepreneurs, independent professionals, and small businesses.

US2 collaborated with Workbar and invested in Workbar Union to provide a local home for solopreneurs, start-ups, mobile and remote professionals in Union Square, and by extension help add jobs and increase daytime activity in Union Square. Workbar Union is  open for all members and guests  Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5:30 PM and 10am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday, except major holidays. Full-time memberships always have 24/7 key card access.  Our Nights & Weekend members have access to Workbar Union Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 11 PM and weekends from 6 AM to 9 PM.

Directions & Parking

Workbar Union  is just a short walk from the 85, 86, 87, 91, and CT2 bus routes.

Public parking is available in lots beside the Old Firehouse/SCAT building in the center of Union Square, on Washington Street behind Ricky’s Flower Market, and at the corner of Prospect and Somerville Avenue. There is adequate on-street parking and some merchants also provide private parking.

For event parking, after banking hours the Citizens Bank parking lot at 40 Union Square is available, along with the Argenziano School at 290 Washington Street.
